Ocean Trails Resort, Parksville

Our stay was wonderful overall, with a spacious two-bedroom unit that felt like home. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved the convenient access to the beach, although the steep ramp might be challenging for some. However, we had a frustrating experience with the office staff, taking numerous attempts to receive confirmation of our reservation after paying a larger deposit. Still, the relaxing atmosphere and amenities made our visit enjoyable.

My stay was incredibly enjoyable, with very comfortable accommodations and a stunning location near Rathtrevor Beach. The amenities were excellent, and I loved exploring nearby scenic walks. However, the construction noise was a bit disruptive, and I was disappointed that the hot tub wasn't available during the winter. Despite this, I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

The children loved the playground and hot tub, while the adults appreciated the relaxing atmosphere. However, the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, which was somewhat frustrating during our stay.

I had a decent experience overall, with clean and spacious cottages perfect for families. The staff were friendly, and the beach access was a significant plus. However, there were some issues with noise disturbances, particularly from rowdy neighbors, and the response from customer service was frustratingly poor. Also, the size of the pool was a bit of a letdown, especially for families with young children.
